Questions
Where do I submit a backflow test report?
To the water utility that serves the property, in the way that utility names. Of the 173 utility programs we have read, 51 name an online system (most often SwiftComply (12), BSI Online (11), Aqua Backflow (7)); the others take the report by email, fax, mail or their own form.
Does the property owner have to file the report?
Usually the certified tester files it, often within a few days of the test, and some systems charge the tester a fee per report. Check your utility below: the deadline and any fee are linked to its own page.
Is a filed report the same as a passed test?
No. The report records the result. A failed assembly must be repaired and retested, and most utilities set a deadline for that too.
